Here you meet your photography guide, who will explain about taking pictures of the northern lights and arctic night sky. You will learn about the camera settings over a cup of coffee or tea. Now you are ready to venture out to hike in the white landscape and feel the snow crunch under your feet while you on snowshoes maneuver your way with the help of your flash light and a professional guide. You will be heading just outside of Ilulissat town, away from the city lights, where the darkness lets you enjoy the dancing colours of green and pink in the arctic night sky. On the tour we will walk along the icefjord mixing northern lights with the view of huge icebergs. Ilulissat Kangia | Ilulissat Icefjord
Ilulissat Icefjord has been protected since 2004, for its distinguished beauty for future generations to protect, preserve and enjoy, a natural heritage that is both an irreplaceable source of life and inspiration. The distinguished beauty is recognized to be the many calving icebergs originating from the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier.
The world’s wonder is situated 69 degrees north on the west coast of Greenland. Ilulissat Icefjord, starts from Disko Bay all the way to the Sermerq Kujalleq glacier connected to The Greenland Ice Cap.
The World Heritage area shields 4,024 KM2 of land, where you also will be able to experience mountains more than 500 meters high, glacial lake and newly ice-free zones.
Kujataa | South Greenland
Kujataa is a distinguished proof of human settlements, where distinguished farming traditions have been made and modified to challenging and fragile climate between the Labrador Sea and the Greenland icecap.
In this region the Norsemen and Inuit have practiced farming and sea mammal hunting, and passed on a culture of Agriculture for generation for preserve, enjoy and protect.
There are several UNESCO Heritage sides spread around the Kujataa region.

Good to know:
We strongly recommend to bring extra fleece, gloves and socks as the weather can get colder fast. No previous experience is needed for this trip as you will be accompanied by a guide that will help you through the whole process. On this trip you will be joined by a professional photographer, experienced in photographing the arctic night. Please inform in advance if you have diabetes, cardio problems or other medical conditions that could affect you during the tour. All tours in Greenland are weather dependent. In the case of bad weather the tour will be cancelled, and you will get full payment refund. Minimum of participants of 2, if less than 2 upon departure day the tour will be cancelled and you will get full payment refund.
