Go on the ultimate snowshoe adventure and explore the backcountry of Nuuk! This tour takes you to an amazing viewpoint known to locals only as, 'The View'. Here, by the top of a mountain with a sheer drop of 760 meters on one side, it's a thrilling place to stand with a beautiful 360 degrees view over the mountainous landscape.

This tour is for the ones who are ready to sweat a bit more than usual and go on a decent incline most of the tour, and with every step, the scenery opens up even more, rewarding you for your hard work.

Along the way, the guide will tell you about what you can see far and wide, including some of his own adventures in these mountains.

We could easily pass by wildlife such as arctic hares, ptarmigans and if we’re extremely lucky we’ll see the arctic fox. They are all in their winter camouflage making them hard to spot, but if we keep our eyes open we might just spot a few.

We’ll have a few stops along the way, giving you the perfect opportunity to get a drink of water and snap some beautiful photos. When we reach the top we’ll make a bench in the snow for us to sit and enjoy the view, taking it all in whilst enjoying a cup of hot coffee or tea and maybe a few Greenlandic delicacies.

If you’re an adventurous spirit this will absolutely fill your need for getting out into the wilderness, so go ahead and book your tour today, just click on ‘choose a date’ above, and find a day that suits you.
