Greenlandic sleddogs are majestic animals. These dog play an important role in Greenlandic history and even up until today, they have been a trusted means of transportation for the people in Northern Greenland.

These are big and beautiful dogs and in spring time you will also see the heartmelting chubby puppies play around in the dog yards. Even if these animals look sweet, they are raised as working animals. There is a very special bond between the owner and the dogs, that make them able to work together on long trips on dog sled. The dogs are extrmele loyal to their owner, but can be dangerous to strangers, that they are not familiar with.

On this tour you have the opportunity to get close to the dogs with the owner. You will see how they are fed and with the owner be able to pet some of the dogs. The owner will be present and tell about dogsledding, the equipment, and his special bond to the different dogs - how their personalities differ.
