This camping site is a must-try if you really want to experience the wild and amazing Greenlandic nature far away from the city, but still want world-class comfort!

This tour begins from the colonial harbor next to the National Museum in Nuuk at 09:00. From there, you will sail toward the Nuuk Icefjord. A beautiful sail tour where you get the chance to see icebergs, breathtaking mountains, and in general amazing nature all the way to the camp.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the guides at the camp (who speak English and Danish). From there, they will give you a quick tour around the area and give you all the relevant information for your stay at Camp Kangiusaq.

There will be served dinner between 18-20 in the large tent, which can be enjoyed inside or out on the platform with a stunning view. The following morning, breakfast can be enjoyed between 08-09.

During your stay, it is also possible to go out on a paddleboard or kayak tour, go fishing, or go on a hike to a waterfall or several viewpoints from which you can see the ice fjord.

You will sail back to Nuuk at 14:00 or 17:30 - depending on what you prefer!

Please note, it is also possible to stay at Camp Kangiusaq for two nights.

When going to camp Kangiusaq, it is important to remember it is located in the middle of the wilderness. Therefore, bring good hiking shoes and appropriate clothing for the outdoors and expect any type of weather. The tents are heated and each tent has a double bed with thick duvets and pillows.

Please Note: If you have any allergies then please let us know as soon as possible!

All from beginning to end was an amazing experience. The sailing trip and the end were an obstacle course of icebergs! The place is so beautiful and wild, you can take some small hikes around the area or just enjoy the fresh air and no connection with the outside world. Take your hiking shoes with you. I would definitely recommend to book it!

I Can only give my hightest recommendation for this tour! The tents are super cozy and the crew super friendly. The Camp is placed in a very isolated area, which makes it very authentic. Had a great time there! Good idea to bring mosquito repeller
