Dette skyldes, at det ligger p\u00e5 den nordamerikanske tektoniske plade. Alligevel er landet, politisk set, en del af Danmark, som er en del af Europa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dette g\u00f8r det hele meget forvirrende, og problemet ligger virkelig i, at der faktisk ikke er en verdensomsp\u00e6ndende accepteret definition af, hvad et kontinent er. For selvom Gr\u00f8nland er et stort land, er det lillebror ved siden af selv det mindste kontinent, Australien. Australien er betydeligt st\u00f8rre end Gr\u00f8nland, og d\u00e6kker ca. 6% af verdens landareal, mens Gr\u00f8nland kun d\u00e6kker 1,45%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image mange forskellige fortolkninger af kontinenter, at Gr\u00f8nland bare kunne fors\u00f8ge at overbevise nok forskere, nationer og i al sin v\u00e6sentlighed ogs\u00e5 offentligheden, til at \u00e6ndre sin status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" en retning v\u00e6k fra kongeriget Danmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men s\u00e5 er sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5let stadig, om Gr\u00f8nland gerne vil \u00e6ndre sin status fra verdens st\u00f8rste \u00f8 til verdens
