En rolig og en flot udsigt at v\u00e5gne op til.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n

One of the most amazing environments I have ever been in is the Eqi Glacier – the calving glacier<\/a>. This breathtaking place is located 90 km north of Ilulissat<\/a>, where it’s possible to hike into the Greenlandic ice sheet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det tager 3-5 timer at sejle dertil, afh\u00e6ngig af hvilken b\u00e5d du tager. Du f\u00e5r 2 timer foran isen, og du f\u00e5r serveret gr\u00f8nlandsk mad. Lige pludselig f\u00f8ler man sig lillebitte i forhold til den enorme isv\u00e6g. Isen afgiver luftbobler, og et stykke is br\u00e6kker af, som giver en k\u00e6mpe bragende lyd, ligesom torden. Efter at have bes\u00f8gt gletsjeren sejler du til Eqi lodgen. Her kan du hoppe af, hvis du skal overnatte i kahytterne, eller du kan blive p\u00e5 b\u00e5den, tilbage til Ilulissat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der er guider, som byder de overnattende g\u00e6ster velkommen, med et kort informationsm\u00f8de, hvor g\u00e6sten fordeles i deres anviste hytter. Der er nu 15 lodges, standarden, og komfort, og der er endda en cafe, hvor alle m\u00e5ltider finder sted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selvom du har en overnatning eller ej, sejler b\u00e5den tilbage til Ilulissat omkring klokken 14.00, og ankommer til havnen mellem klokken 18-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Billedet ovenfor er taget fra en af \u200b\u200bde komfortable kahytter. Denne er placeret helt foran gletsjeren. Kabinen har vand i karret, bruser og toilet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der er ikke noget hyggeligere end at sidde p\u00e5 altanen og nyde en dejlig kop kaffe eller en drink med en udsigt man bare ikke kan f\u00e5 nok af og litter\u00e6rt bare ikke kan f\u00e5 nok af.<\/p>\n\n\n

Standardhytten er uden vand og toilet, men det er super hyggeligt og der vil blive leveret en flaske vand fra cafeen. Her er det ogs\u00e5 muligt at l\u00e5ne badev\u00e6relset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mens du er der, er det muligt at tage p\u00e5 vandretur. Vandringerne kan foreg\u00e5 i l\u00f8bet af en eftermiddag, men der er ogs\u00e5 en l\u00e6ngere vandretur til indlandsisen, som tager omkring 10 timer i alt. For at komme p\u00e5 isen er det bedst at v\u00e6re der i to n\u00e6tter, den f\u00f8rste i hytterne og den anden i et telt.<\/p>\n\n\n

Det er ogs\u00e5 muligt at tage turen p\u00e5 egen h\u00e5nd, men jeg vil anbefale at bruge en guide f\u00f8rste gang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
