For her viser Grønland sin bedste side.

We went on this 660 Ice sheet tour and had any expectations before we went out. I can now say, that it was maybe the most beautiful views I have ever experienced. A 5 hour trip with an amazing tourguide, who talked us trough the nature while we drove on the longest road in Greenand.

We made a few stops on the road to watch not only the spectacular views, but also got lucky to see musk ox, reindeers and arctic hares.

If you have 5 hours in Kangerlussuaq – you should with any doubt go on this trip!

Great tour if you have limited time in Kangerlussuaq! I managed to step on the ice sheet during the layover in Kangerlussuaq airport!
Friendly and informative guide, we made some stops on the way to the ice, also saw some wild animals on the way and we even stop and get out to take pictures.
Walking on the ice was nice, I brought my own little spikes which I use in the winter so it was an easy walk. Otherwise if you dont have your own spikes or walking sticks you need to be a bit careful while walking on the ice.

When I took this trip to Point 660 when I had to wait at the airport anyway, the best experience ever was seeing Greenland’s wild nature, a fantastic tour guide who really knew Greenland, so not only the nature experience itself, I also got some really good stories about Greenland. The trip up there is wild in itself, got to see both reindeer and musk oxen. Walking on the Inland Ice is just so beautiful and a unique experience. You just have to try the trip when you are in Greenland. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. !

Most exciting tour of our travels …walking on the ice sheet was an incredible experience. Would have preferred more input from the driver – he was extremely pleasant and seemed to have a lot of experience but it was difficult to understand him.

We were very happy about going on this trip. We were only two people (my wife and me), so we drove together with our fantastic tour-guide (Niels) in a four-wheel drive. It was a true adventure; we drove on a bumpy road while being surrounded by beautiful nature (astonishing views, a waterfall, reindeers, and the ice cap). The tour-guide was very pleasant and gave us a lot of interesting information throughout the trip. I can highly recommend a trip to the ice cap.

Highly recommended for anyone who comes into Kangerlusuaq.
The guide gave really good insights into the area and Greenland, and in a really humourous way.
The view along the way is really beautiful. We stopped twice to see more (one to view the plane wreck and one is a really great lookout. We also saw reindeer along the way.
He also returned a walking stick accidentally left in his bus.

This was hands down the best experience of our entire Greenland trip! Standing on the massive Greenland Ice Sheet at Point 660 felt like being on top of Mount Everest or standing at the edge of the world. The sensation is impossible to fully capture in words – you’re surrounded by endless white ice stretching to the horizon, complete silence, and the most pristine nature imaginable.
We were blessed with beautiful weather and bright sunshine, which made the ice sparkle like diamonds. The silence was profound – no sounds except the occasional whisper of wind. It’s a deeply spiritual experience that makes you feel truly connected with nature and the planet. The photos from this trip are absolutely stunning – I’ve had several printed and framed for my wall at home. The light, the textures of the ice, the vast expanses of white and blue – every shot looks like a National Geographic cover! Important tip: Bring proper boots with good grip as there’s snow and ice to walk on. But don’t worry about fitness levels – the tour isn’t physically demanding at all, making it accessible for most people.
If you only do one thing in Greenland, make it this. Standing on the ice sheet is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will stay with you forever. Absolutely incredible!
