During this 9 days expedition you will witness the vast size of the Ice cap of Greenland, explore its edges and reach few view points around 1300 meters that will allow you see this huge flowing mass of ice. Our camp will be establish at the coast next to a source of drinkable water and close to some peak that we could climb during our 5 days trip.

It would be possible to move camp for one or two nights higher up to be able to summit a peak in the vicinity of base camp and have an amazing overview this vast glacier world.

All possible peaks to climb would be on a level of trekking peak, reachable then just by walk but on glaciated terrain so roped up in a team.

Included in this package there is one daytrip to a glacier near by Kulusuk Island. Depending the weather we could decide to have it as start or end of the trip.

The highlights of this trip are: Ice cap exploration, glacier hikes, ice climbing, summit, hiking, wilderness camping, glacier calving.

The area where we will go is situated in Johan Petersen fjord, between 3 and 6 hours from Kulusuk by speedboat, depending sea ice conditions.
