Go on this wonderful northern lights photo tour with a professional photographer and capture some amazing night photos! This tour is for anyone interested in capturing the breathtaking spectacle of lights, whether you're someone who wants to learn to take night photos or is already familiar with it.

We will meet up at the office, where the guide will make an introduction to night photography sharing tips & tricks for capturing the best possible northern lights photos, and then head out into the night to shoot at the most scenic and darkest locations around Nuuk.

The car will be nice and heated so you can warm up after having been out in the cold and immortalizing these captivating lights.

The northern lights are caused by electrically charged particles from the sun interacting with our atmosphere, and depending on which molecules they hit, they produce different colours ranging from dark purple to bright green! A breathtaking show of lights with lots of local myths connected to them.

Greenland has extremely dry air, ensuring amazing visibility and even though Nuuk is the biggest city on the island the light pollution is minimal, but to get the best chances we will drive out to the darkest locations.

So go ahead an put on a bunch of layers, some warm boots and let’s venture out into the night, just click on ‘choose a date’ above to find a date that suits you.
