This tour is tailored for those seeking a bit of activity combined with exploring arctic landscapes and breathtaking views. Join us on this snowshoeing tour in Nuuk Fjord (Nuup Kangerlua), just a short sail away from Nuuk.
We will sail for approximately 30 minutes, navigating to a bay called Ikkattut. Once ashore, we will hike to a plateau where you will be greeted with a panorama view of the majestic fjord landscape blanketed in snow.
Covering a distance of approximately 3-4 km, the entire tour is estimated to span five hours, including the sailing. Throughout the hike, there is a chance to spot remarkable wildlife such as ptarmigans, arctic hares, and polar foxes.
Given the potential for biting cold and wind chill, it is essential to dress in multiple layers to ensure keeping warm - it is better to have the option to shed a layer or two than to endure the frigid temperatures!
On board the boat, there will be hot water available for cocoa, tea, and coffee, ensuring a cozy and warm atmosphere during our sail tour. In terms of food and snacks, remember to pack your own.

- Sturdy shoes (e.g. hiking boots)
- Sunglasses, sunscreen & sun hat (depending on weather)
