Phenomenal experience. Tour started promptly. Comfortable boat with seating capacity for 12 people around 3 tables. Interior area was comfortable temperature without feeling too hot. I enjoyed looking around from the rear deck as boat navigated through the icebergs near Ilulissat. Our first stop was at an amazing waterfall where everyone could step on the top open deck to take photos. We continued on to the glacier with Emil, our tour guide, providing a synopsis of the area we were traveling through and using maps to better illustrate points of interest. Our boat continued through the fjords to reach park ~4 Km from the Epi Glacier. It was interesting to see a thin layer of ice form on the water surface around the boat. We could hear the "thunder" as icebergs separated from the glacier and occasionally see the spray of water. Emil also pointed out the location of Epi Glacier lodge. After 1 hr 30 min stop near the glacier, and a delicious lunch (plus cake later for dessert), we moved again. Other waterfalls (some frozen) were visible on the hills around the fjord as the boat The boat headed towards an area where there was a possibility of sighting whales. . I missed the seals which only appeared once momentarily. Everyone did get to see a whale for a few minutes before it flipped its tail to dive underwater. We also saw a few birds during the trip. After navigating through the icefjord again, we were back at the starting point in Ilulissat by 3 PM.
6-hrs was a perfect duration for this trip. I highly recommend this experience and am appreciative of the wonderful tour organized by Guide to Greenland.

The heli tour was great. We were on the larger H155 helicopter which fits around 10 people -- although it was not full, there were plenty of views for everyone. You take about a 20 min flight out to the massive ISUA glacier, which is different than where the boats go (Eqi). This is the huge glacier that basically produces all of the ice and massive Icebergs you see around the city. We spent some time walking around the viewing point near the glacier, and then took off and flew around the face/edge of the glacier in both directions. It definitely gives you perspective and allows you to see how the whole area is laid out. We highly recommend it and would go again for sure.

Fantastisk tur, obeskrivlig miljö och natur samt en mycket kunnig och vänlig guide. Förutom en vacker hajktur så var även båtresan en fullständig upplevelse för sig, vi såg säl och flera knölvalar på nära håll. Kommer bära med mig minnena från denna tur.

An incredible experience, really worth the money. Anna was an super guide and pilot. During the flight we became a lot of very interestings informations. It was an amazing time!

At first, I was unsure whether to book the tour to the Eqi Glacier, as it took up a full day (9 hours) and I only had a few days in Ilulissat. However, the trip on the icebreaker with our guide Esbjörn turned out to be one of the most magnificent experiences of my life. We sailed through amounts of sparkling ice amidst a brilliant white snowy landscape, passing waterfalls, seals, and icebergs. The sun broke through the clouds, creating breathtaking photo opportunities. Finally, we spent an hour and a half in front of the Eqi Glacier’s 200-meter-high calving face, watching as massive icebergs broke off right before our eyes and the entire ice mass shifted. Rarely have I felt so speechless and tiny in the face of such a powerful natural force. It was an experience I will never forget!

A note for anyone who suffers from seasickness (like me):
There were some waves during the first 30-60 minutes, so I would recommend taking a pill before setting off. It is best to go outside into the cool air and look at the horizon. I was totally fine then. The rest of the trip was very relaxing. With the right preparation, it is an easy journey to make.

The evening kayaking among the icebergs with Bibi was an amazing experience and one of my trip's highlights! It is absolutely suitable also for guests with no or little kayaking experience. The provided clothes kept us warm and dry while kayaking slowly among the icebergs under the midnight sun. I felt very comfortable and safe and highly recommend this tour.

The tour to Oqaatsut was a wonderful experience. It was the first boat trip among the icebergs on my trip, and there were plenty of opportunities to take great photos. Along the way, we could warm up inside the boat, and coffee was also served. Upon arrival in Oqaatsut (we took the day tour), we were served a platter of Greenlandic specialties - fish and meat, nothing "exotic" like whale or seal, don't worry - at a very cozy restaurant, and I also tried the local crowberry beer, which was delicious. Afterwards, we took a short tour through the village. Although only few people live there, they have everything necessary for daily life, even a church, a school and a stage for music. It was impressive to see how the residents have created a beautiful and livable environment for themselves, despite their isolation.

I went in June and was beautiful. If you brave you can also swim. Coffee tea cookies provided on board.

I took this excursion on 26-May-2026 and if far surpassed my expectations. Our boat captain Mark and his first mate(I forget her name) were absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. We saw whales, caribou and so many different types of birds. The highlight of the trip was the ice fjord. Seeing all the icebergs and spending time in the ice field was amazing. The glass of whiskey with glacial ice was an amazing touch. I would recommend this tour over and over again. It was definitely the highlight of my visit to Nuuk.

Had an amazing boat trip with the family. The tour guides were super friendly and the boat was really high quality. Being able to sit both inside and outside to see the beautiful scenery was incredible. Great value!

One of the best trips ever! Fantastic crew, amazing boat and really nice company! Got to see glacier waterfalls, a small whale, reindeer and ofc the ice caps in the Nuuk Icefjord. Can't thank the crew enough who made it the experience of a lifetime!

An absolutely unforgettable experience. Kayaking among the icebergs of Disko Bay is something no photograph can truly capture. The guide Rikke was warm, professional, and struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe and giving us the freedom to feel completely alone on the water. Equipment was excellent and we were kept comfortable throughout. Highly, highly recommend — one of the most spectacular tours.
