Something to remember for the whole life. I don’t think that any pictures or description can give a full picture of how wonderful the experience was. I felt like the only one in the whole bay, exploring kilometers of it. Experienced whales while paddling! Wow! Besides the beauty of it – gear, captain, boat – everything top and reliable.

Boat was too small and the 4 hour ride was very bumpy and uncomfortable/ guides were great and the scenery and icebergs were fantastic/ this trip needs a bigger boat

The whole tour was so beautifully done. We loved Ani and how she guided us. This was a once in a lifetime worth it experience

We booked a 2 hour Icefjord Tour through Guide to Greenland and had an amazing time touring with the team. The positive experience started with the team doing a great job communicating with me on the day of the tour since tours had to be delayed due to cruise ship delays. The boat tour was beautiful and in a very nice and comfortable boat. We really enjoy cruising around the fjords and seeing waterfalls and icebergs. The crew was also great and offered a ton of local knowledge and history and really went out of their way to ensure their passengers had a great time. We HIGHLY recommend this tour and would love to do this tour again.

Guide to Greenland is a great partner in organising a trip to Greenland. During my trip to Ilulissat they organised dogsled, snowscooter and boattrips. Great value. As my flight to Greenland were cancelled twice I found them very flexible in rearranging all the trips. Highly recommended!

We had a perfect day on the icefjord with Rikke. It felt like we were all alone with the sea, sun and icebergs, but Rikke was never far away. It felt completely safe. I highly recommend the tour, both for beginners and experienced kayakers. One of the best tours ever. A day to remember!

We had a great boat trip to Oqaatsut, landed on an ice sheet and had a detailed tour of the settlement. After lunch, we had the opportunity to explore the settlement by ourselves for about 30 minutes, during which we could visit the small grocery store. It was really nice to be immersed in the environment which was very different from my everyday life.
However, we had a 1-course lunch instead of a 3-course dinner for the same price, which I think is not fair. The lunch was made from fresh ingredients and was delicious, but nothing exotic.

This was the most memorable activity in Ilulissat! Our guide, Peter, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating facts about life in Ilulissat and the icebergs. We were a very small group of five, and he gave personal attention to each of us. I faced many difficulties getting to Ilulissat, but it was all worth it to have the privilege of witnessing the icebergs.

We had an amazing experience with Rikke kayaking in Ilulissat ! Despite that we haven't been kayaking before, Rikke made us feel completely safe as well as she managed to stay in a good distance, so we felt as we were alone among the icebergs. In addition, Rikke emphasized that it was our trip, and it was up to us, how we spent the hours on the water. We sailed around the icebergs after kayaking, where Rikke shared her local experiences and welcomed questions.

Almost nothing described in the leaflet has been delivered (tour on 11th of May 2025, started at 15:30). We were five cramped in a small boat, like sardines. When walking on the island, be aware there is no pier, you have to jump from the boat on a slippery rock. On the island there is no trail, quite challenging to walk on grass, snow and rocks

Great tour. We had cozy time in boat, saw icebergs and whales on the way. Qeqertarsuaq was really cozy town and we had beautiful hike.
The guide was knowledgable.

Spent 3 days and 2 nights dog sledging from Kangerlussuaq to Sisimiut. Amazing experience, wonderful guides. Thank you very much Viliam, Nini and Nala. The weather was fantastic, but yet cold. Don’t underestimate the importance of warm clothing and extra clothing 🙂

The icefjordtrip was fantastic. We saw lots of icebergs and it is almost supernaturalistic to sail close by Them. The staff was so nice too. I Can very much recommend the tour.
