Information about Point 660

Point 660 is a place recently uncovered by ice with a scenic view of the Icecap slowly descending into the ice-free tundra, located some 40 kilometers from Kangerlussuaq Airport.

From the View Point 660, You have an overview of the Greenland Icecap, that ranges as far as the eye can see.

From here you can walk through the sediment from the retreating icecap, and set foot on the icecap yourself. Depending on the time of year and the surface conditions, you can take a walk on the ice cap itself, but always follow the guides instructions and safety advice.
