Day 1
Discover Greenland’s wild side
Arrive early, settle into your cozy tent, and join a quick briefing before our first adventure – a scenic walk to a secluded “infinity pool” on the island’s southeast side. A dip in these untouched waters will refresh you, easing away any jetlag.
Hiking through stunning mountain paths, you’ll be captivated by panoramic views of the vast fjord system and towering 1,000-meter peaks. As evening falls, we will gather by a bonfire for a warm and memorable dinner on the rocks.
This 7-kilometer hike takes 4 to 5 hours, offering a gentle to moderate challenge for everyone to enjoy Greenland’s raw beauty.
Meeting Point: Tide stairs (Tidevandstrappen) at Nuuk harbour at 9.30.
Day 2
Itisoq Glacier adventure
Today, we will journey to camp beside the impressive 750-meter-high Itisoq Glacier, with an optional summit push to 1100 meters for those up for the challenge. Whether we sleep in tents or under open skies depends on the weather, adding a touch of unpredictability.
After a relaxed breakfast, our ascent begins. Leaving the canyon, we will enter a wide bowl encircled by peaks – our stunning campsite. Here, we will pause to soak up the scenery or continue to the summit.
As sunset casts its glow, we will gather for a cozy, expedition-style meal before settling in under Greenland’s vast night sky. The day’s trek covers about 6–8 kilometers, with a climb of 750 or 1100 meters, depending on the adventure you choose.
Day 3
A day to unwind and explore
After yesterday’s rewarding climb, the morning is all about unwinding. Start the day with a delicious breakfast and steaming coffee before we begin our descent to base camp. Back at camp, the mood turns to relaxation as the sauna tent heats up, creating a cozy, revitalizing retreat.
For those eager to explore, stand-up paddleboards are ready for an energizing session on the water, perfect for honing skills for upcoming adventures. Alternatively, cast a line from shore – with luck, you might reel in something tasty for dinner. Join in preparing the evening meal, where fresh-caught fish, local birds, or vegetables bring everyone together.
Total hiking distance, ascent, and time: approximately 6 km, 4–5 hours.
Day 4
Paddling across fjords and hiking the ridge
Today’s adventure combines water and mountains. We will begin with a thrilling paddleboard crossing of the bay, gliding through pristine waters framed by towering peaks and endless fjords.
With each stroke, the scenery unfolds, offering a fresh perspective on Greenland’s wild beauty. Once across, we will begin our ascent along a ridge trail, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and fjords stretching to the horizon. This day is a chance to immerse yourself in the landscape's grandeur, feeling the thrill of both water and heights in a setting that is as awe-inspiring as it is serene.
Day 5
Paddle Itisoq Bay and conquer The Shark Fin summit
After a hearty breakfast, we will gear up for a memorable finale. With stand-up paddleboards in hand, we will paddle across Itisoq Bay for about 30 minutes (or choose a scenic hike if you prefer). Reaching the shore, we will set off on a captivating hike toward the stunning peak we call “The Shark Fin.”
With dramatic mountains and the vast eastern fjord as our backdrop, this journey offers the perfect farewell to Greenland’s raw beauty. As we descend and return to town, we carry back unforgettable memories and stories to share.
Expect a thrilling 6-kilometer hike, climbing 400 meters over 4–5 hours.

I went to this camp in the spring two years ago, and it was such a great experience. Itisoq is truly magical – waking up to breathtaking views, enjoying breakfast in front of the epic cliffs across the bay, and exploring the area on scenic hikes. Fishing was a highlight, especially since we got to enjoy our catch right away in a traditional soup. The whole vibe was amazing! The guides were local and super friendly and had a huge knowledge about the nature around us.
