This full-day adventure takes you off the beaten track and deep into the wilderness, where we visit at least two different glaciers. We cruise right up close to their towering ice walls and spectacular waterfalls. Along the way, we often encounter seabirds and hopefully seals or even whales. We will make a short stop at a small bird colony where we can admire the beautiful seabirds, including the puffins.
Our local captains and guides navigate through the impressive mountain landscape, sharing stories about the area’s nature and history while answering any questions you may have along the way.
These glaciers are no longer directly connected to the sea, meaning they rarely calve icebergs. This allows us to get incredibly close to the massive and breathtaking ice walls and experience their sheer up close.
During the excursion, we make a stop to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with local ingredients, surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the glacier landscape.
