Day 2
A cultural walking tour through time
Explore the vibrant heart of Nuuk with a captivating city walk. This two-hour journey begins either in the morning or afternoon and requires a minimum of two participants. You will start at the National Museum, a treasure trove of artifacts that chronicle Greenland's rich tapestry of civilizations and eras. Spend about half an hour here before embarking on a scenic walk through the colonial harbor, where time stands still around buildings that are centuries old.
As you meander through the historic area, you will encounter remnants of old whale blubber processing equipment, view the preserved Hans Egede's House, and admire the striking sculpture of 'The Mother of the Sea' situated in the tide zone. Not far from there, you will see the statue of Hans Egede next to the old church, marking important historical sites.
The walk continues to the bustling open-air market. Here, locals gather to sell freshly caught fish, seal, and reindeer, offering a glimpse into Greenlandic culinary practices. Your path then leads you past the Greenlandic Parliament and concludes at the cultural heart of the city, Katuaq, the Culture House. Today, embark on a six-hour boat tour to explore the majestic Nuuk Icefjord and the awe-inspiring Narsap Sermia glacier. Your adventure begins at Nuuk's colonial harbor, where you will board our closed boat, designed for comfort and safety amidst spectacular landscapes.
Choose to sit under the open sky or within the cozy, heated cabin as your captain navigates past towering mountains and drifting icebergs. The highlight of your day is the close encounter with the Narsap Sermia glacier. If ice conditions permit, you will approach its stunning white and crystal blue facade.

Departure day
On your departure day, savor one final breakfast at the hotel before you set off. For your return journey, arrange a self-booked taxi transfer from the hotel to the airport. Remember to allocate 2 hours for check-in to manage all necessary airport procedures smoothly, ensuring a hassle-free conclusion to your visit.

What to bring
Layered clothing. Ideally, you should pack a thermal underwear layer (top and bottom), activity layer (e.g. hiking pants and shirt), insulation layer (e.g. fleece or down jacket), and outer layer of windproof clothing (top and bottom). You may not need all of this on any particular day, but you should have it available. You should always bring a windproof jacket and gloves, regardless of the weather.

Additional Information
Although this tour takes place on a closed boat, the best views are from the outer decks. Make sure you bring plenty of warm clothes (even in Summer) so you can enjoy from outside.
