Traveling to the Northland, Akia
Departure is at 17.15/05.15 PM, from the colonial harbour on Hans Egede Vej. It is short boat ride from the heart of Nuuk to the Northland, Akia.
Rest, hike, fish & canoe
The day is yours to create.
Hike the surrounding mountain landscape. Discover the inland of the Northland, and look for wildlife. Known to this area are the Arctic hare, Polar fox and caribou. It is also possible to canoe around a nearby lake, that has perfect conditions for both the beginner and practised canoer! Near the river, it is also possible to fish for Arctic char.

Package tours can be sold out more than half a year in advance (note that Guide to Greenland does not include international flights in packages, except where indicated from Iceland or Denmark). Day trips may sell out closer to your arrival date, but for popular destinations, certain dates/times can also sell out months in advance. We recommend that you secure all of your experiences by booking them well in advance of your trip.
