Nuuk Iceberg Boat Tour

Experience Greenland’s floating icebergs on a boat tour from Nuuk.

We sail into Nuuk Fjord in search of the best icebergs available within reach. Instead of following one fixed, extended route, the captain selects the best course according to the day’s weather, sea and ice conditions. The tour aims to find icebergs close to Nuuk. 

Enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, Arctic waters and the changing shapes, blue and green colours of Greenland’s icebergs from the heated cabin or the outdoor deck. If you are lucky, you will spot some wildlife on the way, like seals or various birds.

This tour is ideal for travellers who want to experience Greenlandic icebergs up close, without spending most of the day on the water or paying for a day-long journey deep into the icefjord. Be aware: Icebergs move with the wind and currents. The exact route, location, number, and size of the icebergs will therefore vary from day to day. The exact route will be decided by the crew on the day.
