This was an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Seeing the giant icebergs up close and having the opportunity to kayak in the bay was great. Rikke and team had all the gear and drysuits to keep us dry, warm, and safe and feel comfortable exploring the icebergs on our own. I highly recommend this trip!

Words can’t describe how many emotions and lifetime memories this tour created. We went at 21:00. Absolutely mesmerising from start to the end. The perspective from kayak is simply different and when you are not in a bigger group it’s really a different experience. We were allowed to go wherever we wanted as long as it was safe and with whatever paste we wanted. It was absolutely magical. Thank you so much!

If you are visiting Ilulissat, this tour is an absolute must! Rikke is a fantastic guide; she was incredibly accommodating when we had to adjust our start time due to sudden fog. We found the most beautifully shaped icebergs to do an hour or more of kayaking in that vicinity, and then took the boat to explore more icebergs and an impressive large ship. What we appreciated most was Rikke’s remarkable patience—she never rushed us and gave us plenty of time to truly take in the sights without feeling pressured to move on. Throughout the entire experience, we felt completely safe and well-cared for. This was undoubtedly a highlight of our journey through Greenland!

What an incredible trip – boat plus kayak is the best way to get up close to the large icebergs, then have the opportunity to take it in from the stillness of a kayak. Kayaking between the icebergs was truly unique: we were encouraged to explore freely and get up close to some of the smaller icebergs, but felt absolutely safe in the provided drysuits and with the boat following behind us. Captain Rikke was super friendly, flexible in rebooking us after some arrival issues, and happy to answer questions about local culture. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic kayaking trip with Rikke as our captain and guide. We learned a great deal of interesting information about Ilulissat and also enjoyed a lovely boat trip. The highlight by far, however, was the kayaking itself—an unforgettable experience paddling among the icebergs. Something to remember for the whole life. I don’t think that any pictures or description can give a full picture of how wonderful the experience was. I felt like the only one in the whole bay, exploring kilometers of it. Experienced whales while paddling! Wow! Besides the beauty of it – gear, captain, boat – everything top and reliable.

We had a perfect day on the icefjord with Rikke. It felt like we were all alone with the sea, sun and icebergs, but Rikke was never far away. It felt completely safe. I highly recommend the tour, both for beginners and experienced kayakers. One of the best tours ever. A day to remember!

We had an amazing experience with Rikke kayaking in Ilulissat ! Despite that we haven’t been kayaking before, Rikke made us feel completely safe as well as she managed to stay in a good distance, so we felt as we were alone among the icebergs. In addition, Rikke emphasized that it was our trip, and it was up to us, how we spent the hours on the water. Fabulous evening out in the kayaks in the ice fjord, well worth the money (maybe a bargain?!). We had 3 hours and spent probably 2.5 of them kayaking or just sitting in the kayaks enjoying the view. Rikke and Nik stayed in the boat behind us for safety, ready to help at any moment, so that our kayak was as peaceful and alone (in a good way) as possible. Recommend doing it at sunset!! Great equipment that kept us warm, dry suits, booties and gloves. Recommend warm layers underneath and DEFINITELY a warm hat and buff to keep the chill off the head and ears. Thanks for the trip of a lifetime!

This tour was the highlight of our Ilulissat vacation. Karl our guide met us at the harbor and provided flotation suits for safety and warmth before taking us on a beautiful tour of the icefjord. Karl grew up in Ilulissat and still lives there which means he has far more knowledge of life there than the Danish guides many tour companies bring in. He is easily able to navigate the fjord, identify whales at a glance, and find seals from a far. The experience can’t be beat by other companies plus the flexibility of selecting our our tour time was outstanding.

I had an amazing time on my day tour to the Eqi glacier!
The boat was comfortable and the food they served was simply outstanding. I loved the danish fish and remolade sauce and even asked the guide to write the names down so I can have it again in the future.
The day trip was about 9 hours and we spent 2 hours in front of the glacier, so we could enjoy it a lot!
It was a beautiful sunny day and we could see and hear the glacier calving… what an experience!
I totally recommend this tour and guide to Greenland to anyone coming to Greenland!
