Private Stand-Up Paddle in Ilulissat Icefjord from the boat | Ilulissat

Can you picture yourself gliding silently through a mirror-like sea, surrounded by towering icebergs? Imagine savoring the serene beauty of the Ilulissat Icefjord, where the only sound is the gentle paddling of your kayak. Join this tour and have a unique experience at the ice fjord on our private and personalized standup paddle board tour (SUP). Your adventure begins in the harbor where the guide will meet you. We bring paddle boards, drysuits, and other necessary equipment in the boat and sail out towards the icefjord.  When we get closer to the icefjord and find a beautiful place for you to paddle you will get dressed up with proper gear suitable for arctic conditions. After that, the guide will introduce you to SUP and how to paddle with it. When you feel ready to get on the board, the guide will assist you in getting from the boat onto the paddle board. We are happy to help, guide, and instruct you along the way. For the next hour, you can freely paddle while the guide follows you with the boat. You do not necessarily have to stand on the board,  you can also kneel and take a minute or more to enjoy the view and the silence. We can also spot some seals or whales on the tour - if you are lucky! You can join alone or invite your friends and family on this tour. We can have a maximum group of 4 people. The earlier you book your trip, the better the prices will be, and the more likely you will be able to book the tour you want for the dates/times you want.

Package tours can be sold out more than half a year in advance (note that Guide to Greenland does not include international flights in packages, except where indicated from Iceland or Denmark).

Day trips may sell out closer to your arrival date, but for popular destinations, certain dates/times can also sell out months in advance. We recommend that you secure all of your experiences by booking them well in advance of your trip.
