Hop on board our dogsled and get in touch with the arctic terrain! This is the perfect tour for understanding the vast and demanding Arctic nature. You will be travelling across the Arctic tundra, inland, to the unimaginable beautiful Qorlortoq Lake!

Your tour starts in Tasiilaq, where you will be met by your driver and his hardworking dogs. The driver will introduce you to his dogs, and tell which dogs are safe to pet. Feel the snow crunch under your boots as you walk towards the dog sled. The sled is an ancient mean of transportation, and it is quite spectacular to experience the dogs work hard in sync with the driver's demands.

Wherever you look, you will be surrounded by endless miles of Arctic tundra and stunning views of ice and snow-covered mountains.   You will be travelling north of Tasiilaq, along Tasiilaq fjord. Tasiilaq fjord offers a picturesque landscape, with only beauty and traces of cross-country skiers, snowmobiles and animal tracks. This is an experience, you would not like to be without - to experience the nature of Ammasalik Island, is a must.

Enroute, you will have the chance to take pictures of the mesmerizing winter landscape.

Once you have completed 8 kilometres of dogsledding, you have reached the final destination of the day - Qorlortoq lake.

Pull out your winter clothing and bring your camera with you for this adventurous dogsled experience. Check the booking availability by pressing ‘’Choose a date’’ above.
