Grab your paddle for this 3-hour kayaking exploration of Disko Island. You will be paddling in the extraordinary surroundings of basalt mountains and formations and perhaps an iceberg or two!
The tour departs from the black sand beach Siorarsuit, located just by the foot of Qeqertarsuaq. Here you will meet your guide who will equip you with a dry suit, neoprene boots, and a safety vest. Once suited you are paired with a partner for our double kayaks and set out to sea from the beach.
Depending on the weather conditions we either sail west or east. Sailing west takes to the beautiful area of Kuaanit (Angelica), which is known for its beautiful coastal views of rich flora contrasting the black basalt cliffs and mountains. Sailing east you will be paddling towards a beautiful and protected natural dent, also known as the Englishman's Harbour.
While you paddle in the extraordinary surroundings a kayaking guide and supporting boat will be following you to make the experience as safe as possible. They will also be ready to take photos of you!
