Paddle on Lake Ferguson in the Greenlandic backcountry and witness the breathtaking beauty of the Arctic nature up close. Travel the traditional way by kayak, surrounded by tranquil landscapes and stunning mountain scenery, with the chance to spot local wildlife such as musk oxen and reindeer along the shoreline

Kayaking in Greenland is an exciting and immersive way to experience the Greenlandic nature.

It brings you close to nature in a way that is only possible from sea level – silently moving across the water, powered by only your paddling. The quiet connection makes it a truly unique way to enjoy Greenlandic nature.

For more than 4,000 years, the Inuit have used the “qajaq” (traditional kayak) for travel and hunting in Greenland. Imagining hunting in the freezing water from a kayak is definitely an experience that evokes only deep respect.

During the tour, our experienced guide will share insights into the surrounding nature and the fascinating story of the original kayak, traditionally built from sealskin and wood.

All our instructors are experienced kayakers trained in water safety and emergency response. We use high-quality expedition gear designed for Arctic conditions from trusted brands.

For this tour, we primarily use stable double kayaks, which provide excellent comfort and balance on the water. If there is an uneven number of guests, one participant may be assigned to a single kayak by the instructor. Solo bookings will be paired with another guest in a double kayak, regardless of experience. This tour is good for first-time kayakers.
