Step into the quiet heart of Nuuk Fjord on this full-day Icefjord adventure. This 8-hour tour combines a scenic boat journey, an easy guided hike, and one of the most memorable viewpoints in the Nuuk fjord area.

The day begins with a aproximately 2 hours boat trip through Nuuk Fjord, where mountains, Arctic waters, and drifting ice set the scene. From the shore, your guide leads you across the tundra on a gentle hike to a secluded viewpoint above the icefjord.

This tour is not for hardcore hikers looking to move fast. It is for travellers who want to experience Greenland’s wild nature at a comfortable pace, with time for photos, questions, and quiet moments far from everyday noise.

At the viewpoint, the icefjord opens below you. Icebergs drift through the water, shaped by glaciers that begin far inland at the Greenland Ice Sheet. From here, you can see the journey of the ice: from mountain and glacier to fjord and sea.

Lunch is served with the icefjord as your backdrop. A simple sandwich and hot drink become part of the experience when enjoyed in Arctic silence.  You will have plenty of time enjoy the nature and take pictures!

The hike is paced to the group, with no rush. Your guide shares stories about the landscape, the fjord, and the ice that shapes this part of Greenland. Kiinaasaq, the highest mountain in Nuuk Fjord, rises above the area and adds to the feeling of standing somewhere few travellers reach.

After time at the viewpoint, you return along the same trail before sailing peacefully back through Nuuk Fjord.
