Description

Would you like to know more about how climate change has affected North Greenland? Then sail with us to the settlement of Saattut, north of Uummannaq.

There you will meet and talk with a few local hunters, where the guide will ask and translate their stories, about how much has changed just in the past 2 decades.

After a few conversations, you will go NorthWest towards the glaciers in Itilliarsuup Kangerlua, where you can clearly see, on the rockfaces, where the ice has retreated from.

It is an endearing tour that’ll awe you in its beauty and give you a deeper understanding of the Arctic life and the changes that have come upon them.

Please note that the price is for chartering the whole boat for this excursion. This will include one to six passengers. When booking you will register one person and following choose how many extra passengers are on the trip. It is important for the Captain to know how many people you will be on the trip and that you fill in the names on the passenger list.
