Step onboard as Nuuk slips into its most magical hour. Sail into the Arctic fiords, where the sky glows gold and pink long after midnight.

This guided two-hour evening cruise takes you into Nuuk Fjord beneath the spectacular summer light. From late May to early August, Nuuk barely gets dark, and around midnight the sun hangs low, casting a soft, shifting glow across the mountains and water.

We leave the harbour late, when the light is at its most beautiful, and cruise through the quiet fjord as the colours slowly change. Stay warm inside the closed boat or head out onto the open deck to take in the views and capture the perfect photos. We return as the Arctic light begins to shift once again, a peaceful summer counterpart to our winter Northern Lights tour.

Nuuk lies just south of the Arctic Circle, so it does not experience the true midnight sun, where the sun remains above the horizon all night. Instead, it enjoys white nights. Around the summer solstice, the sun dips only briefly below the horizon, leaving the sky bright with long-lasting shades of gold, pink and soft blue.
