Join us on this SUP board trip where you will be paddling between huge icebergs with origin from the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Ilulissat.
This 3-hour afternoon paddle board tour offers the fantastic opportunity to experience the great icebergs of Ilulissat Icefjord from a new perspective. While paddling around, you may also be lucky to spot humpback whales amongst the ice.
Do not worry if you have no previous experience with paddle boarding. You are in the hands of an educated guide, who will teach you all the tips and tricks to master the water sport.
All equipment and instructions about safety are provided at the meeting point in the city center next to Brættet. From here, you set off on your paddleboard and sail out to a set of rocky islands, but note that the route is flexible due to weather and ice conditions.
The Isua glacier was defined as a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004, with the status of being one of the most active and fast-moving glaciers worldwide. The active glacier creates the stunning scenery of icebergs that you will navigate through. You are ensured to experience these unique icebergs from an oceanic perspective, outside the coast of Ilulissat.
