Plan your trip to Greenland

Loved the itinerary, it was perfectly planed we visited local few local towns and see everyday life there.
Our favorite part on the tour was staying at Eqi lodge in front of the glacier, it was amazing to see glacier calving and also some wild foxes came to say hi!
We would definitely recommend this tour!

This tour was incredible! I was fascinated by the island. Our guide was so informative. There was a family vacationing on the island so I knocked on their door to ask questions and see their home. I was fascinated. The people of Greenland are so friendly.

I think this tour is really not worth it. We can only see the musk ox REALLY REALLY from a farrrrr farrrr away from binoculars. Even from binoculars, you can only see them just like a little dot.

Comment from Guide to Greenland: Lauren is right that sometimes the animals is far away. Sometimes we do not se any at all. It is nature. Sometime they walk on the road or right next to it. We do not know. There is a herd of 30,000 animals in the area, but it is not a fenced like in a zoo. We are sorry this means we can't provide a 100% guarantee - but almost.

Godt at man standsede og lod båden drive lidt. Så kunne man stå op. Det var svært at se og fotografe fra siddende stilling (hvis ikke man har en lang overkrop).

We had a fantastic trip with where we not only had a beautiful boat tour but experienced Eqi Glacier calving (actively) and saw 4 Humpback whales! Wow!
Our captain and our guide were informative, friendly, safety minded and enjoyable!

This was our big ticket excursion on our trip in Nuuk, and it was worth every penny. The vantage point of getting to see the glaciers and surrounding landscapes were unforgettable. We got up, close, and personal to the bluest glacier I’ve ever seen. The weather was great out by the glacier, and the trip was smooth on the water. Amenities in the cabin were warm and comfortable. The crew was incredibly kind and personable. We had full access around the boat to see every angle. It was easy to go in and out of the cabin with two sliding door options. Bathroom onboard, it’s narrow but what a great addition to have access to. Our group of strangers were wonderful and that made it fun. Enjoyable conversation. We even had a brave soul dip into the water at the furthest point we visited. Talk about a cherry on top witnessing that adventure. They provide tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies. We brought a little picnic with us to supplement. Highly recommend bringing snacks. Celebrated with a little whiskey and piece of glacier ice our guide was able to scoop up. A perfect end to a great evening. I honestly forgot how long the trip was until we were 30 mins out from docking back. The beauty to be seen and admired made the time fly. We walked to and from the dock to town, about 30 mins each way to where we were staying. We didn’t find it a difficult walk. The road is paved but it does slope down form town towards the dock meaning you have to walk up an incline back. Or you can take the shortcut stairs that cuts through one of the parking lots. Still stairs up or down but might be better if you prefer a railing while walking. If that’s not your thing, I would prebook a taxi for a time maybe 30 mins from estimated time of arrival. They can try to call the taxis but they were busy when we got back at about 10pm so a reservation might be handy.

We feel so grateful to have seen nature at her best. Nuuk Taxi was superb.

The evening was lovely. The food was delicious, the wait staff was wonderful and the atmosphere excellent. I have one suggestion: We ordered a pairing for our meal but one did not come with the appetizers we enjoyed in the bar. I suggest adding a wine for that.

Totally outstanding and enjoyable. Excellent and knowledgeable two-person crew, and I appreciated their total fluency in English. They took us to many particular spots where we stopped for a while to take pictures or to watch for humpback whales (we saw a probable family group). Nice hot tea and cookies, Irish whiskey with fresh glacial ice picked up from the water, clean bathroom, help getting on and off boat. I recommend this tour for everyone.

This guide was the absolute best of our trip. He spoke perfect English, and always talked to us. We got a better idea of how people in Greenland really live, through this great tour. Met us in the hotel lobby, tour started on time, ended on time, and he brought us to all the important sights that we could not have seen with a walking tour. Highly recommend this guide, whatever his name was.

This tour was perfect!
It was just me, my husband and the guide.
We were able to let her know where we'd like to go (specifically for better photography) and she was simply incredible.
I alone kayaked and it was an incredible experience - i highly recommend you book this tour!

I would recommend this day trip from Nuuk. The hike was beautiful and something you could not do on your own. The boat ride was smooth and both the guide and captain were wonderful.

The only reason I am giving it 4/5 stars is because 1. The cost was high 2. The description was for 7 hours but it was about 9. Which was an issue because we didn’t know to bring food. It was a long day to not eat and by the time we got back everything in Nuuk was closed.

If you pack your own lunch/snacks and prepare for a long time on a boat - you will love this hike!

A packed itinerary accessible to almost anyone regardless of fitness. The guide was fantastic and the company dealt with some "external challenges" extremely effectively. Thanks!

We had beautiful sunny weather and we saw about 4 whale 🐋. Boat was comfortable and I got some good images.
