Hearing about the historical and present day life of the dogs, musher and sled - was fascinating. Feeding the dogs was a great experience, highly recommended.

The fjord experience is fantastic and the staffs are nice. They told a lot of stories, showed great landscapes, and provided nice snacks treats. Strongly recommend it to travelers.

Really lovely way of spending some time closer to the ice, you really get a special sense being up close to them.
You are at the mercy of the slowest members of the party that go out but in all this was a really lovely little trip out and I would recommend it.

I am not sure that anything I write here can do this justice - it is amazing and I would recommend this to anyone!
You do need a little bit of physical fitness to really enjoy this as there are some not-so-easy parts of trekking around a glacier but it was not overly strenuous in the grand scheme of things.
The guides, Kim and Ana were both absolutely brilliant! This was one of, if not the, top thing I did on my trip to Greenland. Beautiful surroundings, photography dream, excellent trekking and if you are keen a potential dip in the cleanest water you will ever see!
We were slightly lucky with the weather but if you have the chance to do this trip, you should!

Overall would recommend this tour though if you are looking for a quick overview of Kangerlussuaq.
The tour itself was pretty good, informative and took you out of town to places like the harbour that you might not otherwise trek out to.
The guide, Ana, was really informative and enthusiastic which really helped. She was only let down by the fact that there was another group on the tour that seemed to be an organised group from Denmark. The leader would routinely take the microphone to give extra information to his group mostly exclusively in Danish - it felt like he should have let Ana get on with her job there and that he was trying to take over a bit.

What a day - the boat, the guide, and of course the cave. We loved it! The lighting, textures, air bubbles from so so many years ago, rocks above you suspended in ice. Gorgeous.

So glad we were able to visit and explore, highly recommend!

Great experience! It is a perfect tour to have a deep enough experience of the ice cap. The hike on the ice lasts about 4 hours so we had the opportunity to see a lot! Our guide Kim was great, he lives there and he explained to us a lot of the history and curiosity about the ice cap and about kangerlussaq too. Highly recommended trip, probably the best thing to do in kangerlussaq!

Amazing trip made all the better by a touch of early fog making the burgs very ethereal. When the fog cleared wow …. We gad the pleasure of seeing a sea eagle, Humpback Whale the abandoned village, waterfalls …. Who knew you could age icebergs? Definitely take Polaroid sunglasses then you can see how large the Icebergs are below the surface of the crystal clear ocean! The crew were hospitable and knowledgeable And thanks for the drinks and snacks!

Fantastic guide who gave us a very thorough interpretation of the landscape. The rich mix of archeological findings, cultural knowledge, ethnology and folklore tied to death , childbirth and living were well-curated. The entire experience wasn't rushed and we had plenty of time to soak in the setting as well. I did not regret signing up.
